I did a filter on both images that was water color. The original chair picture had a little cartoonish feel to it already so i added the water color to make them fit. I decided to add the drop shadow to both texts because of the tree with the drop shadow so i added a feel that went throughout the entire picture I also added a drop shadow to the chair. I decided to use the text to promote a fictious website where you would book trips.
