Midterm ~ Suki

Tada! Haha, it closely resembles some web page of some sort, but that little X-credit button will eventually be a link to a totally revamped version at some point.
Basically, I adjusted the example web page and put in "my" own stuff. I found a pleasant color combination called "Graceful" by mariagroenlund on Kuler and used it for my web page. I needed a couple more colors, though, so I added a brown, light gray-blue, and dark blue. I used a pattern set from Brusheezy.com ("Playful Seamless Retro Patterns" by webtreats) and put them together using a variety of tools including gradients, pattern overlays, gradient maps, more gradients, paint brushes, pattern stamp tools, and lots of blending.
Here's the colors:
#00072b - Dark Blue
#3e3947 - Dark Grayish
#735360 - Dark Purplish
#d68684 - Dark Pink
#f1b0b0 - Middle Pink
#ebd0c4 - Light Pink
#b8b0c6 - Light Grayish
#b99379 - Brown
Basically for my inspiration I went to the sixrevisions.com/.../25..tutorials... website mentioned on the midterm instructions and went through a couple tutorials, one of which had a link to brusheezy.com that I mentioned above. Then basically I clicked and fiddled with an idea in mind until I got what I wanted. I kind of like it, but it's a lot of pink. Guess it goes with my hat. :P Maybe the x-credit page will have a little less pink? Ha! Fun stuff!!
P.S. Everyone, your pages totally rawk!! Lookin good!
