alright so here we go with the fun part!!! telling all about the wonderful journey to making our works of art. i realized that i really like some things in Ps and really dont like others. with that said im going to answer the questions for the assignment.
so with the whole masks thing, as far as removing a background they are good for things with a clear contrast difference but besides that for me i never got the selection i was tryin to get with the quick selection tool on my pic. after enough toying with it i just went back to my handy dandy pen tool which took me a minute or 2 to get the exact selection i wanted. i used the color match for blending along with a plug in i have called contrast master. its not maybe the most convincing pic but it works for me. now the extract filter is pretty dope i like that alot and with a little bit on refining on my part it may end up being a favorite of mine for pics with details like hair and such that are important in a picture. so for that part of the project i used gradient maps that i changed the opacity and set to hard light to blend it a bit. I like the colors in the skate park pic that i used this on. the clipping mask for the shape and the text use is cool but to me its always been kinda cheesy, i don't know why i just don't like the font with stuff inside it. thats just me though. anyways that's about it for this one hope you guys enjoy!
