http://sws.pcc.edu/student/CAS208_pdeangel_27344/kelvenjones94/midterm/the%20jones/so with this assignment i tried a few different things. i wanted a page that was simple yet attention grabbing. that why i went with red,black,white,and a hint of gray for my colors. i found a site(officialpsds.com) that has alot of precut graphics, and thats where i got the Polaroid pics from. I just cut them a because they were originally 2 stacked together. I did all of my design in photoshop and fireworks then just uploaded it to dreamweaver. Its just simpler to me for something like this. I used the desaturate command to take the color out of my pic which worked great with 1 click. i think overall the hardest part was finding the font since i had like a couple of hundred to choose from. i just typed out my header part and start going down the list and that particular font just fit to me. i like that it doesnt look all neat and perfect because thats not the vibe i was going for. this also was my first time using fireworks and it has some handy features in it like the hotspot tool. very handy for pages.i had a bunch of fun with this project because i went into it blind and let it come together how it did and it turned out to be something i really like. I cant wait to see what everyone else came up with, hopefully everybody had fun with this one.
