Project 4 ~ Suki

Hahaha! This was a fun project! According to the instructions, we could create a new background, so I created a background and stuck myself on it. I played around with the drop shadows, but I could have worked on that part a little more. I used the extract tool for that one. Actually, it didn't give me the result I wanted, but it's pretty good nonetheless.
Haha! The space picture cracks me up, and it was fun to put together. If you ask me, it's a little creepy having the light from the star come from the cow's eyeball, but it's still fun! (Yes, that's a cow faintly hovering in the middle of nowhere) I have a big collection of space pictures from the Nasa Picture of the Day Archive, and it's fun playing with them. For the word I used a red planety picture for the background, but I didn't like the default blending option so I used hard light. It makes it a bit darker, and with the curves darkening the photo behind it, the letters became invisible. A stroke effect fixed that. I had fun playing with the colors on the main background image, too. The original was purple and blue. I didn't like it with the red, so I changed it. It looks better this way in my opinion. Hahaha! I'm still cracking up about the cow.
