On the monkey photo I enjoyed the Smart sharpen filter tool worked best for this photo it was similar to the photo in the book of the beer. I found that the fur looked more realistic and less blurry when I used the smart sharpen filter.
On the Portland photo I added alot of different portland landmarks to this photo all 4 of these items are what comes to mind for me when I think of Portland landmarks. I added a blur to the main photo of mt hood. So that it looked like it was farther away I added an Unsharpen filter to the made in oregon sign and to the portland sign. I also added filters to the photo of Portland it self so that it looked less blurry from the lights.
